QB J.T. Barrett (B1G FOY, All American, Silver Football Award, 3x B1G QBOY, National Champion)

With that said I don't think we've seen the last of Barrett this season.
You're on crack.

No MD needed.

Just common sense used while not wearing Scarlet-colored glasses.

Fair enough. I will never apologize for being optimistic though. We are going to need every ounce we can find from here on out this season.

This injury is so severe.. it is not unreasonable to think Miller plays in 2015 while Barrett does a medical year

Ankle injury is unlike any other body part.. it's where the entire weight of the body rests..
It's the joint that has the most pivots.. front/back; side to side and rotates in all degrees
and then you add the stress of acceleration, cuts, twists and stopping... it's big time

Buster Posey had soft tissue damage with his broken ankle and took 6 months to recover. I pray there is no serious damage beyond the broken bone(s)...i do know this..had I broken my ankle i'd have screamed and cried like a baby...JT Barrett is one tough SOB. get better young man and congrats on your 2nd pair of Gold Pants.

Watching The Game again right now, and just saw where JT was laying on the ground and the head trainer and an assistant came out. When the trainer asked where he was hurt and he told him the ankle, the assistant went to the ankle, touched it, and immediately ran off the field to get the cast and cart.

I don't know what they showed on TV - whether they were at commercial break or whatever. I didn't notice the assistant run off the field, but I was amazed at how quickly the cart was on the field. I've seen it take quite a long time before they get a cart on the field - but I'd say that this was easily within a minute of the referee calling for the injury time out.
