That I can see...I think the 18 comes from combining last years 7 offensive player of the week with 10 freshman of the week honors, then adding this weeks nod.

As Dryden pointed out, JT got multiple awards (freshman of the week, offensive player of the week) a lot last year. When I saw the generic POTC acronym, I took it as Player of the Conference, a singular all-encompassing award you can only get once a week.Nope he's just that good

Part of the confusion likely stems from the fact that there is no "POTC" or "Player of the Conference" award to begin with.
