2019 NFL Mock Draft: Jaguars, Patriots find next franchise quarterback, Bills get Josh Allen a deep threat
9. Jacksonville Jaguars
Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State. Same as last week. When Cody Kessler and Blake Bortles combine to go 17 for 23 for 145 yards ... well, something has to change. Jags executive Tom Coughlin historically likes college quarterbacks with more experience but the current circumstances in Jacksonville may dictate that he deviate from that plan. Haskins has had a monster season at Ohio State. For much of the season it sounded like the redshirt sophomore was set to return to school. But Haskins, who reportedly got a first-round grade from the advisory board, might have the most upside of any quarterback in this class. Put another way: The Jags need a post-Bortles plan and Haskins could be the best option.

2019 NFL mock draft: The strangest QB draft in years
9. Jacksonville Jaguars: Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State
As expected, Haskins received a first-round grade from the NFL draft advisory committee. That’s only because the committee doesn’t dish out a higher grade. Haskins is a top 10 player in this draft, and the best quarterback.

2019 NFL Mock Draft 6.0: Late-season edition
8. New York Giants: Dwayne Haskins
School: Ohio State
Position: Quarterback
Have to consider a quarterback with a top-10 pick this time, right? Bolstering either line would work regardless, but the Giants need an Eli Manning replacement plan. Haskins is the QB wild card in this draft if he declares.

NFL mock draft 2019: Redskins, Giants get QBs; Raiders raid 'Bama for defense
5. New York Giants
Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State
Haskins was not a candidate for early entry until late in the Buckeyes' season, when he had some jaw-dropping games with his big arm and downfield accuracy. He has ideal size as a strong pocket passer (6-3, 220 pounds) with the right dose of athleticism. Although his NFL-tied head coach in waiting Ryan Day will try to get him to stay, the irony is Day has prepared Haskins well to go pro now and immediately pose the most appeal in an enigmatic QB class.

If Haskins "goes"; in addition to the Giants, the Jaguars could pick him.
Just sayin': In 2018 the #9 pick got a contract for $18.6M.
