I think "by the book" the call on Ward was legit even as cheap as it was, but that never gets called if not for the Oscar worthy performance by Trevor Lawrence. It wasn't called on the field. It didn't come down from the booth until the time out for Goldilocks' "injury". ( that he jumped up laughing about as soon as they said they were reviewing it)That, and the Ward penalty and ejection for targeting, were absurd. Totally changed the game.
Unless you go O for your career against tsun and have no championship of any kind.Just give us everything you have and we will have your back no matter what happens.
True but if he lays it all on the line, that won't happen and he'll be just fine.Unless you go O for your career against tsun and have no championship of any kind.
We’re going to look a little askance at that. Not gonna lie.
Absolutely the worst B.S. targeting call I've ever seenWard did however get ejected for a flawless tackle against Maryland that robbed him of a forced fumble, fumble recovery, and touchdown.
I can't imagine any other big time program has been boned by targeting as much as we have.
I don’t need CJ to be Duggan, I just need him to stand tall in the pocket and step into a throw knowing he’s going to take a big hit. He simply bails way too early when he feels the pressure.Duggan at TCU is the perfect example of why Buckeye fans would fall in love with him in Columbus. Dude was throwing up going into that OT because he put his body on the line for his team. Not his fault his dumbass coach didnt call the winning play. Sound familiar?
Im pretty sure we never want anyone to get injured but the true winners in this sport are willing to risk it to win for their team. Duggan isn't half the actual QB that CJ is but no one is ever going to question that kids heart like they have been CJs, right or wrong.
