I wouldn't be surprised if there were some assurances from Meyer that he'll go into spring ball as the starter. If JT is limited on his feet I don't see him beating out Cardale in the spring. If he can start and play 15 games next year like he did the past 3 he'll be a top 5 pick and probably make more money over the next 5 years.

1.75 Mil in guarantee? That is assuming that he will be drafted in the 2nd which is very unlikely. A 3rd or 4th rounder, you might only get 300-750k in guaranteed money.
