Must listen...very interesting perspective and facts. Warning - lots of cussing.
Said Beck only called offense twice that year (Maryland and scUM) and more or less it was Warriner who called the shitty games.I don't have 90 minutes to watch the clip.. but I read there is something very interesting in this clip about what Cardale had to say about Tim Beck.. can someone shed light?
Damn. The coaching job in 2015 was a ish show

Also noted that they devised their game plans by predeteemining how many touches each player would get.
not surprised. Beck has always been a fan scapegoat.so beck wasnt the issue in 2015......(walks away)

Longest I've ever listened to a podcast. Cardale was brilliant. I tuned in for the info on the 2015 coaching, but wound up listening to the whole thing. I also really liked how Beanie and Boom didn't try to talk over him and let him do his thing. I'll be checking them out again.
Meh. Beck was not a big component in a positive but really wasn’t the true problem either. Meyer changed offensive philosophy twice inside of 12 months and Warriner was more of an influence than Beck. Fans wanted an easy target because they somehow felt we’d just roll through 2015 after how we ended 2014. But of course it wasn’t the same team for so many reasons and team cohesion was spotty. Beck didn’t help matters but he was the scapegoat for fans because they wanted an easy target to blame rather than acknowledging the difficulties of motivation to repeat plus Meyer’s own shortcomings. Meanwhile folks thought Warriner was tits back then because our line play had improved after Tress left. 2015 played out the way it did for a multitude of factors. Beck played some role in it, but nowhere near what fans crucified him for. Cardale knows this. The QB play undoubtedly regressed under Beck, whether calling the plays or not, he was atrocious. He also played a huge part as the "passing game coordinator" which was pathetic when you watched the routes.
