QB Antonio Henton (transfer to Ga. Southern and FT. Valley St.)

All indications from this thread and other threads that touch on the QB scenario are that Henton has been the top dual-threat QB target for the Bucks since Williams verballed to Illinois. The Buckeye staff obviously figures they are set with pocket passers for the future with Boeckman and Shoenhoft, so they were particularly targetting someone who could give them a different look.
I would consider him the top QB that OSU is recruiting pocket or dual... if you treat Weber as likely to be a Gopher.

Let's just say this - if Antonio does not make it as a QB, he is certainly athletic enough to see the field at some other position (RB, WR, DB, LB). With a couple of highly-rated "traditional" QB's already in the fold (Boeckman and Schoenhoft), the Bucks really can't lose by taking Henton - either he develops into a "dual threat" QB like Troy Smith, or he moves to another position and contributes there. The "traditional" QB's like Zwick, Boeckman, and Schoenhoft usually either make it at QB, or they ride the bench - not many other options with them.

Without straying too far off topic, that isn't the case with Schoenhoft. He can also be a heck of a TE, and played TE and WR on varsity his sophomore year. In fact, if Greg Paulus had ended up staying at X, odds are Schoenhoft would've been a D-1 TE all along.

HH,
Is Antonio interested/excited about being a Buckeye. He looks like a player!!
Spoke with him a few minutes. Nice kid, easy going demeanor. His coach was looking at film with the staff as we were speaking. Was asked by others were the southern schools still a consideration. More or less discounted that. Got in on Friday and was hosted by Brandon Mitchell I believe. Very happy being in Columbus and after we spoke the buzz was he was committing to the staff that day. On the surface appears to be the type of 'good character' kid JT and staff are bringing into the fold.
