Looks like we're ALAMO Bound!

The official announcement probably won't come until later Tuesday or Wednesday, but the chairman of the Sun Bowl selection committee confirmed Monday night that the Purdue football team has been invited to play in the Dec. 31 game in El Paso, Texas.

That's pretty funny. My roomate was just talking a while back about there being too many OSU's. And 2 of them are going to be meeting in a bowl game. Course I told him there is only ONE OSU, the others are posers :)

I can't remember where I heard this... either on the radio or some sports site. But there is a chance if Nebraska beats Colorado that the Alamo Bowl might take Nebraska to have a dream matchup of Ohio State v Nebraska. The Alamo Bowl will get 2 teams that travel really well plus the marketing of a matchup of such traditional powers.Just an interesting thought.

That's no dream matchup...I'd rather play a team that didn't give up 70 to a team going to a lower tier bowl. Okie State or A&M are much better for a game and our final ranking (should we win). Though I do hate everything about Nebraska, so it might be fun to demolish them :)
