Which was really surprising. The slurry wall they built should have been bulletproof. Its not like they didn't anticipate the water table issues.
years like this one I don't think it would be an issue, but if it's a wet fall, and 2006 was exceedingly MOIST, the issues multiply.

My brother went to ATI in Wooster and he said he was surprised it was so bad at the time.

I worked for a contractor who worked on the Renovation project (didn't have anything to do with the physical lowering of the field) but I had to drop materials off there a few times and one of the project managers walked me through how they designed the wall to keep the river out.
