This defense reverted to early season form.

Marching down the field nearly every possession and converting 3rd and longs is what our offense is suppose to do, not theirs.

I don't know how they aren't better at getting stops when they have to practice against our offense.

People are gonna whine about giving up points, but I'm pretty sure the coaches are fine with them scoring on long drives while we play vanilla D. Giving up the first after that gifted 15 harder, and getting beat over the top isn't ideal....but we're not gonna do anything other than boring ass zone from here on out, by design. Don't freak out please.

Neither of those teams throw like Purdue. But I would like to see the line generate a bit of pressure.

It’s also OK if it takes them 4 or 5 minutes to get a TD instead of 2 or 3.
