Game Thread Purdue at tOSU, Homecoming Sat Oct 23, 12:00 ET, BTN

Hey Purdue is on top of the Big Ten and they are a pile of dung. Go figure. Take these guys and make them bleed through their pie holes. When that is exhausted rip off their arms/legs and beat them with the wet ends. If they still need to be convinced that the Bucks are pissed for last year, well someone help me out here...

Even though 40+ in a Big Ten game is huge, I'm personally hoping we manage to somehow lay down a 50+ point smack down on these clowns. Tress will likely unleash the hounds on Purdue, and hopefully won't call them off until the last 10 seconds when we go for 2 because they won't let us go for 3.

Purdue is a much more physical team than in the past. We have had our ups and downs with them as it is. We are banged up something terrible on defense and still have no identity on offense. Shugarts is hurt and will be all season. Who handles that DE that killed us last year? Hope to see the pistol and a lot of Boom.

Watching Oregon with similar athletes to us play on offense makes me wonder what we could be if we wanted to really open it up and attack on the offensive side of the ball.....very frustrating. I know we beat Oregon last year but as I see it right now they would beat us handily....especially given our defensive losses. Our offensive would have to roll up 40 on them to make it close.

Bucks win 27 to 13. Go Bucks

I see a lot of peeps are thinking huge win here... perhabs I still have visions of both of our lines getting the living snot beat of them last week that makes me a little gun shy here in my prediction but Prdue could be like an Indiana game... torn

Heart and want says 52 - 10
Brain says 28 - 13

Think I am going with Brain on this one.

Agreed. I would love nothing more than an epic beatdown. Just don't see it happening the way our lines performed last week. D line got pushed around, and their Oline is solid. Similarly, our O line interior played alright last week, but Kerrigan is better than Watt, and I think if TP's quad isn't healed all the way, it could be trouble for us offensively.

I see it playing out one of two ways.

Either we get early momentum and the blowout begins or

We struggle early, give them confidence and will be in a dogfight.

I think the team is clearly focused, and some pressure has most likely been removed from the equation, allowing them to play more instinctually.

We certainly can make this one ugly, and I think it will be. Ugly good or Ugly bad remains to be seen.

Purdue's O-line doesn't outweigh our D-line by 70 pounds. That will make a huge difference on the push. I'm not going to say a blowout, but I think that was the biggest factor of Wiscy's line having their way with us.

The purdon't O-line averages 6-6 316lbs let's hope tOSU gets more out of the guys rotating on the D-line because those numbers are far from Wicsy O-line.

This team needs to play one snap at a time. Plain and simple. Play each and every play like it's your last. We know tOSU gets every teams best shot...it's time to pay it forward.

SMASH THROUGH TO VICTORY!!!

I hope the Buckeye's beat the shit out of Purdue today. I was supposed to be at the game, but my car decided to die in Cloverdale, Indiana. Which was 5 hours into our 8 hour drive. So Buckeye's please beat the shit out of Purdue today to salvage my day.

After foregoing my usual gameday rituals last week since there was no chance of me watching the game due to work (I know, I know, let the dings begin, it was my fault), I am making sure my gameday rituals are taken care of. I've woken myself up to the sound of the marching band, and the OSUMB CD will be in my stereo on my way to B-Dubs in 10 minutes.

Fuck Purdon't.
Bucks roll, 42-6 :oh:
