unfortunately, we lost to Purdue in 2004 as well.....and still lost to them in 2009.

at least the 20009 PU loss woke the team up and started the road to redemption

The difference being we hadn't lost to Northwestern in 33 years. I guess there really aren't any parallels between the two losses, just a hoping that he beats them down.

We owe these assclowns for last year, and now we're going to have to take out some frustration on them. Boiler up? More like blow the Boilers up. :osu:

I have an authentic TP jersey (with his name on it too! shh, don't tell anyone) that I wear every gameday from the moment I wake up to the moment the game ends (and often all day long) no matter what I do or where I go. I just slipped it off and hung it back in my closet to await next week and it felt different...like a suit of armor.

Being a Buckeye for the rest of this season is going to be one hell of a fucking ride and I'm sure as shit ready for the ass-beatings that are going to come for the rest of this season. I had doubts at our championship aspirations after the first few weeks of the season anyway and now the gloves (and the pressure) are off for both fans and players alike. I'm ready for a revenge thrashing of the Boilermakers to set the second half of the season spinning. This is TP's chance to "Silence the Doubters" and pick up steam heading into bowl season and next season. I've still got a great feeling about this season and I think everyone else should too!
