So much more energy tonight on both ends of the floor. This is the frustrating part of having a young team. When you see them play good team basketball like they have this first half and they run the floor the way they are, the other times are very frustrating.
Still weak on the inside there. I'd like to see Lauderdale with the hard foul once in a while and take away that easy basket.
I have been waiting to see Turner run the point all year. He can jus see so much more of the floor than Simmons and you have to play off of him or else he will blow by you. If he is this effective against Purdue, he should only be better against any other team.
That 35' alley-oop from PJ to BJ was nasty. Candidate for a top 10 play. I like having ET bringing the ball up the floor, but it seems a strange time to do it since PJ and Simmons have been playing much better of late.
Purdue opens with a 3. Diebler answers on other end. Mullens block. Diebler nice feed inside, cleaned up by Mullens. ET hits two FTs. UP gets 2 FTs of their own. Teams trading baskets, Buford and Mullens on back to back trips.
i'm not sure we can win a toe-to-toe game down to the wire with a team of this caliber. i'm looking for the bucks to go on a run to give us some breathing room. games like this seem to have the ability of getting out of hand in the blink of an eye.
