If I'm defending Byrd, I'm in his jersey non-stop. As soon as PU gets the ball, run to him. Get into him from the beginning. Any freedom he has lets him be comfortable. Make him feel like he's being defending all the time. Make him work. Make him think.

Can't keep letting guys have these performances.

I'm not asking him to be perfect

It's more than the number of blocks. He lets guys go right to the rim uncontested little bit too much imo.
