I would agree with the open teams/no restrictions if we have only 8 guys. But if we get 10+ guys it really isn't fair that a guy gets USC/West Virginia or LSU vs a team that gets stuck with a lower team. Some of the teams in this game are STACKED! With more players in it you just have to have a restriction so no person has an advantage. But it still allows freedom to pick teams for how you want to play.

Haha, this is great. I played a guy last night, he was Florida, I was ND. I'm an average player and usually get beaten by the people that play online all day. He was runnin' around as Teabow, waiting for people to get open all day. Ended up beating him 27-26, and it was down to the wire. I just played ball straight up all game, he missed a PAT and had to go for 2 a few times, got it once. I generally stay in the pocket, if my first receiver isn't open I check the 2nd option, if theres nothing there I probably scramble.

Ok, for the daily thread checkers...
I am going to go with league daddy because it has a good stat tracking system, Allows for owners to create news articles and postings... it is like an electronic sports page for your league. Its very professional. It will track stats leaders too, to include passing, rushing, returns, def stats.
It is going to cost me $55 to run our league, I am not looking for any help, it is soley because I want to a fun league where everyone can play. Since we are all BPers it helps to encourage competition since we know each other. Since it is MY out of pocket expense I am doing my research and noting who is the most interested (outside of the ones BN27 can vouche for). So right now this is our ownership roster..... FIRST COME FIRST SERVED (in no particular order)

So right now, adding ulukin' and shady901 we have 7 owners. In this scenario it would go down like this:
a) One conference
b) 12weeks + 3 week playoff = 15 total weeks
c) you play each team twice 1 and 1 = 1 home,1 away (its the fair-est way in such a small league, so the schedule is so long)
d) all seven teams get seeded (for playoff) according to criteria - #1 gets round one bye
e)If you lag on consective weeks (you hold up and get behind two games, you start forfiting each week starting with the first missed game (miss week 1, miss week 2 then week 1 is forfited, miss week three then week 2 is forfited) all non-forfited games may be made up.
f) winner is responsible for imputing the wins and losses
....f1) all players are responsible for updating player stats (yards, tds and whatnot)
....f2) Winners of forfited games will not have that game counted in the final average for the stats leaderboards - the forfiter will have 0yards 0tds entered into player stats (the loser is tracked in averages)
g) two forfits in the season means you will forfit playoffs (that means you missed 2 consecutive weeks twice)
h) open draft, all teams are eligible, owners will be drawn at random ( i will draw, myself can not draft higher than 5 for confidence issues)
On the account we get 8 total here very shortly rules apply like this:
a) 2 conferences
b) 9weeks + 2 week playoff = 11 weeks
c) 6 in-conference games 1 and 1 + 3 OOC games
d) top 2 in conference will play
....d1) Conference A champ vs Conference B runner-up and Conf. B champ vs Conf. A runner-up = winners go to championship game

Be fair- if there is an issue in the game, play it out and ask me for a ruling, we are all grown ups
No rediculous sub'ing of players, if you think you are stretching it then as a league we can vote on the authenticity of the sub. Exception If you lose all your QBs in a game to injury then all rules are off and any sub is fair game
We start the weeks on Saturday (its college football baby!) if everyone finishes before the actual week than we can all meet up and vote to start the next week schedule... if anyone is behind a game this is null and void. Do not go ahead and get more than 2 weeks ahead, its just to tough to keep track of and takes away from the thrill of the end of the regular season. (if you and your opponent want to play your 1 and 1 in the same week thats fine, but no more getting ahead of the schedule, your done until everyone catches up)
If you and your next weeks opponent are done for the current week, you may play the next week without approval (but then you are done, no more getting ahead, wait until the league votes to start a new week)
How does all of this sound?

Honestly, I'm pretty busy and I play sporadically, so I wouldn't be a viable person for a regular league. Its better that I don't I think, thanks for the offer though.

go ahead and randomize yourself wherever you end up sparky. that's how i did it with the fantasy league. i just put everybody's name in a hat and pulled them out one at a time.
