Would be helpful to have more clarity about exactly what he was charged with doing. Maybe I scanned the post too quickly, but it seemed to assume the reader was already up to speed.
Was it for suggesting breast milk over formula, or for a balanced diet with limitations on processed foods? Something else?

That is a fascinating claim Steve.
By all accounts those who were attacking Noakes were academics & doctors. Was Claire Julsing-Strydom a pawon of 'global food conglomerates'? Is the HPCSA secretly part of the Monsanto/Nestle cabal?

Yes, it was disclosed in court that Kellogg's primarily funded those behind the HSPCA complaint. The academic researcher testimony was from a lower-tier South African university and frankly, it was embarrassing. It is well-known that international food chains were funding these folks and their organization, as identified in prior court testimony and public complaint link.
In the final analysis, the complainants presented no real evidence to support their claims. Noakes, on the other hand, presented irrefutable evidence from leading scientific studies and renowned experts link. See USA link and ZA link.
The HPCSA has been put under administration.
Personally, I was convinced the minute I saw the scientific evidence I needed to see. I mean, the guy is for bacon.

The keto and paleo diets have been getting research at UCT for more than 15 years. He is promoting high fat, low carbohydrate and millions have adopted it. He is credited with bringing it into the sports literature.
