I think there will still be some actual football stuff to be discussed this year.

Buckeyes Honored by Phil Steele Publications

COLUMBUS, Ohio ? Senior center Michael Brewster, a 2010 All-American who will be entering his fourth year as a starter for the Buckeyes, has been named to Phil Steele?s Preseason First Team All-America squad. The Orlando, Fla., native joins senior defensive end Nathan Williams and senior linebacker Andrew Sweat on Steele?s first team all-Big Ten team. Williams also was a third team All-America selection.

Brewster enters the 2011 season with 36 career starts. Last season he was a first team all-Big Ten selection and a Rimington Trophy finalist ? an award he will contend for in 2011. Brewster anchored a Buckeye offensive line that helped Ohio State rank 14th nationally in rushing and 11th in scoring offense last season with 38.7 points per game.

Williams was seventh on the team with 46 tackles in 2010, including 9.5 TFL and 4.5 sacks. A tremendous pass rusher, Williams has played in 34 career games with 90 tackles, including 10.0 sacks and 21.5 TFL. Sweat earned himself the starting nod at the Sam linebacker in 2010, recording 41 tackles, 3.0 TFL and an 18-yard interception against Wisconsin. The academic all-Big Ten honoree has played in 28 career games, recording 61 tackles.

Also honored by Steele was senior WR DeVier Posey, who was named to the second team along with LB Etienne Sabino. Buckeyes named to the third team included TE Jake Stoneburner, OL J.B. Shugarts, KR Jaamal Berry, PR Jordan Hall, DL John Simon and DB Orhian Johnson. Fourth team recognition went to DL Johnathan Hankins and DB Travis Howard.

Also got kicked off UF's campus for actively recruiting other Floridians to tOSU during unofficial visits.
We should have shoved him in the dining hall walk in freezer and said, "Enjoy your stay Up North."

The guy is a warrior. Sorry we missed him.

He'd have just bearded up and broke your [censored]ing cooler down.
To have a successful team you need a few guys like that as a nucleus - not giving a shit about anything but working hard in the off-season, following the rules, stopping the less serious guys from distracting the mission, and kicking ass when the pads come on. Seems like that combo is getting harder and harder to find.
