Well, we never had one for 2006, but we're nearly half way through 2007, so maybe we can start considering this years "Post of the Year". I nominate the following...

I know most of these posts are about important things like football and sports but i have a problem if anyone has any suggestions. I am a 19 female sophmore at OSU and went to the Mansfield branch for the first year so this is my first year at the main campus. I moved to Ohio mid high school and had troubles making alot of true friends. I live off campus about 15 min away and work and go to school full time. I dont have much time on my hands but am begining to get depressed about not getting out and doing anything. I am a very shy person and it is hard for me to just go up to people in class and begin talking. Even if I do go out I never seem to meet anyone new. I know I need to be less shy but I really would like to meet new friends. I hate going through school with no one to share it with hang out or party. Everyone seems to have their clicks like in highschool and I cant seem to find anyone that is willing to make a new friend. Even though I am shy at first Im quite out going after I have gotten to know someone. If theres any places or ideas you have for me I would greatly appriciate it. I know this sounds lame but imagine if you had no body at school you knew. I go to this huge school and cant seem to find anyone willing to get to know someone new.
