Thanks for this. I was moreso wondering if there were a way to filter out all the News items (e.g., LGHL, Google News) etc., that dominate the website home page:

I'd love to see more BP content in the 'Latest threads' rather than all the news website contributions. Like, I definitely don't care too much about coming to BP to read a Kobe Bryant article on another website, for example. I don't mind it once in a while to see some other stuff going on, but I am finding it distracting to come here and see a bunch of non-BP threads popping up on the activity feed. Maybe there can be a bit of a limit on how many 'News' threads pop up in the Latest threads list?

I’ll look into this. I rarely, if ever, visited the front page in the past. Is the current content different than it was pre-upgrade?

Good question. I'm not actually sure - my old bookmarked link to BP no longer works in the new update so now I get to BP through the front page. My previous experience was to browse the latest threads in the forums and go to one that interests me. I can't recall ever actually seeing the 'News' section in my latest activity threads other than stuff that the Admins posted, like big updates from Clarity. That feels different enough under the update, mostly because none of the News articles in the 'Latest Threads' section actually interest me (they feel too clickbaity) and they seem regularly submitted/updated by non-BP contributing writers. So I feel like I don't get a sense of where the latest activities are as easily as I used to. That might just be my experience under the new updates though.

I guess the essence of my issue is that I'm finding it slightly harder (but not all that hard) to find the threads/updates that I'd like to see compared to what I used to, and instead I'm finding it easier to see threads/updates that I don't really have any interest in. So I'm just curious if I can modify things enough to get more of what I'd like to see.

Forums used to go to the forum lips with buckeyeplanet com going to the front page. Now you need to add /feeds/ to get to main forum page
