As someone who's posted pics in that thread, I've never been able to do it from my phone. I've always uploaded to facebook, and then copied them over to here. I see that they eventually get the broken link thingy even though the original photos are still hosted on FB.

and vice versa.. would love to be able to downsize a pic... when I copy one in here to discover it loads in a post to 6" X 6" I scream

so I’ve intentionally given it a few days. It’s a similar feature but I prefer BpSpy. It was simpler, usually spanned the entire screen, and I know that others like being able to see the full post my preference is for the simple “preview” of the post without the quoted post/gifs/images.

I might be just “old get off my lawn“ autx in this case but I do prefer the previous way.

not sure if this is what you're talking about, but i also wanted the same compact look like on spy.

i saw that the "latest threads" page (or maybe any page) which shows posts / threads can be presented in two ways. one shows more of the post ("card view") and the other ("list view") just shows one line (or something) like the old spy.

fwiw... on my pc i like card view, so i set that as the default, but on my phone i have the default set to list view.

EDIT: and you can also toggle the width (wider or narrower margin along left and side of the window):

@heisman we will have to ask Ian about this I tried to increase it but it said 2048k was the limit. Its probably a server configuration thing

(Needless to say I agree with doubling)

all of that works except the last part. Specific on my ipad the screen width toggle isn’t there … both when requesting desktop site & mobile. I had found the other method of viewing the “latest activity” about 2 hours after I posted..

edit: found the toggle… it was in a different location up under the 3 dots on the upper right hand side.

thanks this feels like home just a little bit more now.

Yeah I think most of the features are still there and more. But they are all in new places
