Benedict XVI?????

Holy Crap!! (pun not intended)

There was some talk about the prophesies of Malachy when John Paul II died. The second to last pope was called Gloria olivæ by Malachy! Now read the following commentary about this prediction:

9. The Glory of the Olive. The Order of St. Benedict has said this Pope will come from their order. It is interesting that Jesus gave his apocalyptic prophecy about the end of time from the Mount of Olives. This Pope will reign during the beginning of the tribulation Jesus spoke of. The 111th prophesy is "Gloria Olivae" (The Glory of the Olive). The Order of Saint Benedict has claimed that this pope will come from their ranks. Saint Benedict himself prophesied that before the end of the world his Order, known also as the Olivetans, will triumphantly lead the Catholic Church in its fight against evil. Traditionally, the olive branch has been associated with peace, but in both the Old and New Testaments it also serves as an emblem for the Jews. Putting the two together, some commentators believe that the reign of this pope will be a peaceful one during which the prophesied conversion of the Jews will take place. Several ex-Jews are said to be highly placed in the Catholic Church now.

Anyone else surprised by how quickly the conclave chose the Pope? I thought it might be a 1-2 week process and am very surprised to see it end at the end of two days. Makes me think they chose a conservative Pope who will continue the work of John Paul II.

I thought I read that it's never taken more than 5 days to select a pope.

does this mean the world is going to end soon?

im not a fan of the world ending, per se....but if it does have to end, id like to be there to see it.

ive been reading alot of malachay lately.....

he says this pope will be the second to last.....the next will be peter and will actually be satan....then the end of times.....roughly 2011, give or take a few years...

the wall in the vatican where they list all of the popes names, coincidentally, only has room for two more spots....one more now that Benedict XVI has been elected...

some say that malachay and nostradomes (sp) were one and the same.....nostradomes also said the end of times would be around the same time (2011) and the final war would be faught with weapons in the air...they would have gold and silver in them and would strike like lightning...

how in the world did he envision a war fought in the air.....lightning is as close as he could imagine to a nuculear (puppose misspell) blast....and plutonium is silver and turns gold in reaction...

scary, scary stuff....we have roughly six years before the apocolypse....

And it would be nice if it could be in a year that we win the National Championship. You know, just in case some aliens come across a time capsule or listen to our radio/TV etc. 20000 years from now.

Damn, I finally fall in love and the fucking world ends? Who the fuck wrote this book? On second thought, I may be responsible for the Big A. My bad on that, guys.
