Why is the Board Traffic slow lately?

I guess that is my take on it as well. And I can only think of one avatar offhand (Jaxbuck?) that is even questionable...the one of the ladies ankles with the underwear. The point is, majority seems to rule. To me, if it is a problem for you, and nobody else, then you should be the one to change your settings. If the majority wants some softcore, then so be it. If not, then everybody should change. Maybe the best way is to vote one way or the other, and make a rule that avatars have to be clean, and sig's can be whatever. Or neither. Or both. I'll start a poll. FWIW, I really don't care either way, but this comes down to each user's preference. BP is what we make of it, so if you like T&A, and want it in your sig, you can. If you don't like looking at it, or can't, then there is a feature in place so that you don't have to. I'll start a poll.

I'm not suggesting it be a poll, a rule, or anything else. I'm only asking that it be something that everyone is cognizant of. Quite simply, the next time someone thinks about having a 2Mb animation, or something with the approximate dimensions of a wallpaper as a sig, think through how doing so affects others.

Many people have already changed elements of their sigs and or avatars just in response to the concerns in this thread, and it's not just mine but many others', including some other mods. To restate what I initially wanted to convey, my issue isn't with any one individuals' sig and/or avatar, but rather the culture of one-upmanship for the limits-pushing sigs and avatars that was beginning to escalate over (especially) the last month.

I think the mentality of giving greenies for racy sigs was a part of that phenonenon.

OK, I've checked it out, and I see the problem. I didn't realize I had gotten a second medal, thought I had just the one. My rep power is under 100,000, so I figured grad and Mili must have a ton more power.
I will think before I speak for the rest of the day...or most of it anyways.
