If you want to talk about fans of other teams, expect to get something in return. That is, of course, unless you can't handle being questioned. My guess is that you can't and that I'll have an email waiting for me when I get up later this morning telling me I've been banned for "arguing with a mod" or something to that effect.

What in the hell are you talking about? It takes 2 people to argue. If you want to get technical and whine about who started it, look back and see who replied to a post that was almost 24 hours old and wasn't even addressed to them.

I will talk about fans of other teams, because I'm allowed to. As are you. But if you want to have a discussion/slap fight about it, try doing it without bringing up totally irrelevant things like the Rangers or me being a mod. I mean.....you're welcome to bring those things up.....but it makes absolutely no sense.

And stop crying about being banned or any shit like that. Nobody is going to ban you. If you're implying that I would ban you, then you're dumber than I thought.

I split this off from the game thread. (Edit - from 1 game thread and 1 series thread)

Personally, I think that the whining that goes on about the Red Wings, when it's not in the Red Wings thread, deserves to be mocked. There's a difference when that stuff is in a thread about a series or a game, rather than just about the Wings.

And when the whining is about a team has won 4 of the last 11 Stanley Cups and has home ice for the rest of the playoffs, it's not going to get a lot of sympathy. It's about like me whining about the way the Bulls were playing in the 1997 playoffs.

But I'm a Blackhawks fan, which means two things.

1. I may be biased at this point.

2. I proabably won't get mocked until the Wings finish off the Hawks.

I do understand BN27's point. I'm sure it's the same sentiment expressed towards OSU fans when OSU loses to a team with "less talent". When you've been so good for so long, losing is never acceptable and it's hard to deal with being out-played sometimes.

That being said, the Red Wings have more talent than anyone else in the league. When they are going right, they are almost unbeatable. I understand the frustration of the Red Wings fans when they string together a couple good games, then lay an egg one night. I don't fault Mike (or whoever) at all for suggesting that the poor play is to blame for the loss rather than the play of the opponent.

Now, fuck all that conciliatory bullshit. Fuck the Red Wings. Fuck the Blackhawks. Fuck the Rangers. Fuck the Raiders. Fuck Penn State.
