this is seriously what I did last night....swear to god.
1. watched the highlights of the game. not 1 second of actual game time. pretty much just the goals in sequential order. i didn't even hear about the hit until I watched the clip in this thread.
2. predicted this thread would consist of whining about the refs and talk of how poorly Detroit is playing. because you can't make detroit look bad by being good....it's either because of some screw jobs (plural.....as in 10 or 20) by the refs, or because they didn't play their best.
3. logged on and was proven right.
so what do I need an excuse for?

you can talk about it like it's because of something other than Detroit holding themselves back. I'd be surprised if 50% of the red wings fans even knew who the opponent was. they act like there's only one team out on the ice.
