Use the bigger travel sites to get a ballpark, then check the same flights on the airlines' sites to get a cheaper rate. Also check the cheaper airlines like Southwest, Jetblue, Airtran, etc. that don't show up on Orbitz and Expedia.

then Orbitz, Travelocity, and Expedia

then buy the actual ticket off the airline's site to avoid the service charge.

You can even ebay it. People sell vouchers out there all the time.

Careful with that. In most cases, vouchers are non-transeferable. If the airline catches on, you might get screwed.
