That's exactly it. Thanks. We have several tsun (That school up north) posters, some SEC guys, posters from Notre Dame, etc. There are plenty of non buckeyes here that post frequently. Outsiders that don't troll are always welcome to stick around.
I'd recommend the arena district - though it's not walking distance to the game, there are plenty of bars / restaurants for after the game. This will be a late 20's-40's crowd. I travel there for business on occasion and stay at the Courtyard on Spring St. Cab to and from the game required. This way you can hit some of the campus tailgate / bars before and after, and there are also lively spots around the hotel for later.
We stay in the Arena District - usually Crowne Plaza, Drury, Hampton, Courtyard Marriott... we have a car and drive to campus on game day - taking Neil Avenue up to campus, then cutting over to the Ohio Union Garage works well for us. We typically leave the hotel by 8:30 (depending on kickoff time). Haven't had any issues with the garage filling up if we get there by 10 (OSU Police have a twitter feed that updates you when parking lots and garages get full). South Campus Gateway also has a garage if the Ohio Union fills up. I like the Union garage because I can walk across the Oval on Campus to get to the stadium (reliving my misspent youth). We have friends who tailgate in the AG lots, so it isn't much further from the stadium to get to that. After the game we usually hit up a place on High Street for a beer/food for an hour or so, and traffic usually clears by then. Take Neil back to the Arena District (High is always a mess though the Short North). BTW, all bets are off on this strategy for night games. There is no way to get off campus quickly, and good luck getting into any place on High once the game lets out.
