I must say I think i'm right here. The Flyer's were MUCH tougher on us IMO than the Capitals. We're flowing freely out there and I believe we outplayed washington pretty badly. I thought we carried the play the majority of the time and we got pucks in deep on Washington.

There was only one let down player for the pens this game and that's Fleury. Can't let up a rebound like that on the first goal. The 2nd goal while a 5 on 3 he slips and wasn't within 10 feet of the right post, and the last goal somehow got through his arm. If he plays well we win this game, but he didn't so now we're down 1-0 in the series. Overall I really liked the game of the Pens.

I think they don't have anyone who can match with Jordan Staal as it's evident they couldn't get the puck clear at times with #11 in their zone.

Adjustments? Not very many IMO.

1. Keep skating because it was evident that we may be a little much for the Capitals defense to stop.

2. Shoot the puck more often. Too many times on the odd man rushes did we hold the puck when we were in close.

3. Play a little more phyiscal.

4. Got to find a way to get Kunitz more involved. He's really strugged in the postseason so far. I'd love to see him back with Jordan and Tyler.

YEAH I saw that daveeb.... After two periods it was something like

Ovie-16 minutes
Crosby-14 minutes
malkin-11

So the league's leading scorer plays 5 minutes less than Ovechkin? I mean no fucking wonder he almost took over as the leading point man. He plays far more than Geno.

We have essentially two Ovechkin's and we misused one of them. Take advantage of having two big time players like that!

I think we're really putting some pressure on that goalie of theirs. Sure he played nicely today but sooner or later i'm tellin ya we're going to get to him. Maybe next game, but I will be interested to see how he does in game 3 in Pittsburgh.

Next game IMO.... NEEDS to be won. I'd cry in happiness if I saw these lines...

Dupuis-Crosby-Geurin
Fedetenko-Malkin-Satan
Kunitz-Staal-Kennedy
Cooke-Talbot-Adams

It doesn't have to be this all the time but Kunitz isn't adding much to Crosby, and has always played well with Staal. Sykora just doesn't fit the system and needs to be put in the pressbox for the rest of the year.

The announcers name is Doc Emrick. He is flanked usually by Eddie "I can't get a job with the Red Wings and I'm bitter" Olcyzk and Pierre "I'm an insult to anyone with the last name of" McGuire.

It has to be the worst national announcing team since Al Michaels and Boomer Esiason. These fucktards make any hockey broadcast essentially untenable.

Washington can't hold onto the puck tonight. Ovechkin looks a little out of control.

Penalty shot for Washington? Nope, just a trip. And that's a terrible call.

Caps tied it at 1-1 with a goal by Ovechkin. Both teams seem to be playing well, and the Pens need to start cashing in on their opportunities now if they want to win this. Not scoring on that 5 on 3 really hurt.
