Speaking of a girl fight did anyone catch A Semin "fight" yesterday vs Stall of the Rangers?

He didn't have his fight straps done up so his jersey came right off and he jumps on top of Stall and begins only what I could describe as a 3 year old girl slap fight/bongo drum player imitation. Or maybe hold your elbows down by your side and pretend you are trying to hit someone on the ground below you.

Had to be seen to be appreciated but if you get a chance you'll laugh your ass off.

is that the one where ovie boards a guy (keep in mind alexander the gr8t) has already put one guy on a stretcher and into the hospital this week while boarding) and then staal tried to engage him and he skated away? it might have been a sissy fight but atleast he did something and stood in there, ovie is the bigger chicken of the two, he should have been suspended for the boarding on heward earlier this week, not a doubt in my mind.

Because every player in the league knows rule 41. Contact an official and you get suspended, period. Ther's no gray area there. Shit like Crosby's garbage goes on all the time without suspension.


I really liked how the announcer for the clip said "How is that any different than what Mcsorley did to Brashear?" Idiot!

the rag dolling of mclean, sure, im fine with that. the third man in, punch to the back of the head, the below the belt shot from behind im not. sid should have gotten the instigator and im fine with that. the other bothers me.

ask mats about that. interesting what really happened, interesting the "other angle" never went public on the peca thing, weak as shit. he touched the guys hand/arm area, that happens every game. though since he had a letter on that night he should have had to touch him since he should have stood their given him atleast a few seconds, then skated sent peca away but he thats what you get.

then you can get on the colin campbell 0-2 on getting interviews for the cbj head coaching job, i wont go there.

but i can say the cbj arent actually my true "favorite" team. (nor are the wings or pens).

I don't think it was the game Ovie boarded the guy but I'm not 100% sure now that you mention it. This was just a tie up in the goal and Stall agitated him enough that Semin started "fighting". It actually wasn't that bad untill he lost his shirt and got on top of Stall. I then was embarrassed for him but its not like he's a tough guy or anything. Just looked so girlish in the pinned elbow/slap someone to death fighting style he employed :biggrin:.

Agree 100% that gr8t should have been suspended but you know stars get preferential treatment in all pro sports. He'd have to kill the guy to get suspended.
