I'm really really excited about Sunday's game with the Crapitals... GO PENS!

Only thing that sucks is if either Carolina/Buffalo win tonight the pens are once again out of the playoff's for the time being. It's thier own fault though for waiting until March to Fire Therrien, and also get some good wingers for sid.

The Pens have been on quite a roll since the coaching change. Getting Gonchar back hasn't hurt, either, and Kunitz has provided a spark.

Didn't like seeing them blow another two goal lead in the 3rd period today but an OT win at Washington is still pretty good.

Fuck Ovechkin.

Tonight will be the first time I've been to a Penguins game for quite some time. April 8, 1997 was the last time. :(

That being said, that game was Mario Lemieux's last regular season home game before he returned to the NHL. Everyone had signs (picture below), it was as loud as any other hockey game I've ever been to, and he got a solid five minute standing ovation. I remember it like it was yesterday.

Every point is huge now for both teams so tonight should be a good one.

The changes the Pens made have really made a difference. Getting Gonchar back hasn't hurt, either. The best part, to me, is they didn't mortgage their future to do it.

Agree. It'll be tough because this game means something to both teams, and they're my two favorite teams. OT would be nice.

Lots of good, bad, and ugly in that game.

Good:
- We stole a point.
- Nice to see Columbus have a great pro atmosphere. Was watching the news after the game and they said that increased attendance is really helping out the Arena District.
- Mason is crazy. Must. Give. Props.
- Lots of hits. Lots of shots. Lots of energy.

Bad:
- A Blue Jackets fan was holding up a sign at the end of the second period that said "Refs Rock!" I mean, come on, who holds up a sign that says "Refs Rock!" at a friggin' hockey game? I was gonna keep my mouth shut about the refs until I saw that sign. Jagoffs...
- It's only one point.

Ugly:
- Flower Power on the first two goals.
