After the Cards routed the Bucs in game one, the Pirates returned the favor in game two. Now it's back to Pittsburgh with the series tied at 1.

Definitely a Bucs fan from here on out. They're the one team from Pittsburgh I can stand.

This is it - game 5 at St. Louis. Wainright is on the mound at home, the Cardinals are the favorites and the Pirates are the underdogs. In other words, just like it has been all year. The Buccos have surprised the hell out of me and a lot of other people this season, so I'm going to hope they've got something left in the bag for tonight.

Hurdle's a great manager, but it's kind of hard to see the reasoning behind giving Melancon the ball in the 8th. And he promptly removes any shadow of hope the Pirates had, giving up 3 runs in two-thirds of an inning.

Yep, hell of a run for a franchise that really needed one. It was great watching the city rally around that team.
