Name the winner and loser in each of the Jan, 2012 (end of the 2011 season) BCS Bowl games.
5 points - for each of your 10 teams that make a BCS Bowl Game
2 points - for each team that you picked the correct BCS Game for
2 points - for each team that you correctly picked to be in the BCS Title Game (in addition to the 2 points just mentioned)
2 points - for each of your 5 winning teams that wins a BCS Game
2 points - for picking the winner of the BCS Title Game (in addition to the 2 points just mentioned)
So correctly picking the BCS Champion will result in points for each of the above reasons (13 total)
This BCS.Link explains the selection procedures. This year, it's basically this:
BCS Title Game - gets BCS #1 and #2
Rose Bowl - gets B10 and Pac 12 CCG winners, if not in Title Game (won't have to take a team like #3 TCU this year), that was a 1-time deal)
Fiesta - gets Big XII champion, if not in Title Game
Sugar - gets SEC CCG winner, if not in Title Game
Orange - gets ACC CCG winner, if not in Title Game
Then the bowls that lost #1 and #2 to the TItle Game pick replacements, but can't pick other AQ conference champions.
The highest ranked team not in the 6 AQ conferences gets an AQ spot if in the top-12. ND gets one if they're in the top-8. One AQ spot is given to AQ conference teams if they're BCS #3-or-#4 but didn't win their conference.
Fiesta gets choice of at-large teams (remaining AQ teams, or at-large in top-14)
Sugar gets the next choice
Orange gets the last pick, and must take an AQ team like the Big East champ or top-12 TCU/Boise State if they remain
The contest will be open until September 1st at 6 pm Eastern.
The poster who scores the most points will receive $500,000 vCash after the bowls in January. This will be split if there's a tie.
Please format your picks like this (these are NOT my picks ):
Rose: Minnesota over Wash St
Fiesta: Baylor over Idaho
Sugar: Vanderbilt over Indiana
Orange: Duke over Syracuse
BCS Title: Nevada over Army
