I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I want to try my hand at photoshop, and I was hoping someone could hip me to a good program for beginners. And, if someone had one (or more) in mind, the cost of the program. thanks...

I'm not sure about beginner programs, I just got Photoshop and started from there.
PS is quite expensive, but there are eBlack Markets out there..

I use fireworks for everything I do, you can get a LEGAL 30 or 60 day trail from www.macromedia.com if you have issues with the black market... (then if you like it there are tons of cracks out there for it to make it a full copy)...
