Phoenix Suns (Official Thread)

Not sure if I agree wit this...

I am not saying I don't love Nash...I was all for him getting the MVP with a a close runner up with LBJ last year and have no problem giving the MVP to someone 3 years in a row, but Nash does have Amare back on his team this year and the other guys are playing awesome.

Dirk is the 3rd most effiecient guy in the league almost averages a double double per game and Dallas has the best record in the league...

I think that Dallas would be just as lost without him like the Suns...

Either way it is going to go down to the wire for who will win the MVP...

I guess the tiebreaker could be the fact that the Mavs own the Suns. This drives me crazy BTW. I wish we could beat those guys.

Thats fine, just giving my opinion, but I don't think it is as cut and dry as some might think and we are only half way thru the season as well...
Agreed. I just thought it would be more intelligent to put it that way than begin to throw out bullshit stats all night about who we think is better. They are both extremely talented and it will probably end up with who finishes the regular season best. So Nash has some making up to do.

Well you guys discredit Dirk so I gave some stats for the reason why he should be in the discussion...

PHOENIX (AP) - Steve Nash withdrew from Sunday's All-Star game because of lingering inflammation in his right shoulder.

The league's two-time defending MVP has missed the last 3 1/2 games because of the injury. The Phoenix Suns said Monday he won't play at Seattle on Wednesday night, the club's last game before the All-Star break.
The decision means Nash will have had two weeks to rest and treat the shoulder before the Suns play their first post-All Star contest Feb. 20 against the Clippers in Los Angeles.
