Lane Johnson Files Unfair Labor Practice Charges Against NFL, NFLPA

Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Lane Johnson lost an appeal of his 10-game suspension for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy in October. As a result, he filed unfair labor practice charges against the league and the NFL Players Association with the National Labor Relations Board on Tuesday, per Albert Breer of TheMMQB.com.

According to Breer, Johnson also "filed a complaint against the NFLPA with the Department of Labor under the Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act."

Johnson has served six games of his suspension to date and has four remaining. He was also suspended four games in 2014 for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy, which made him a two-time offender this year and merited the 10-game ban.

Filed by 34-year-old Joshua Jeffords, the suit says Cox, who's in his sixth season with the Eagles, had an "adulterous affair" with Jeffords's 29-year-old wife, Catherine.

Bloodied fan arrested before Eagles' win had slugged a horse, cops say

Details emerged Monday about the wild parking lot arrest from before Sunday's NFC Championship Game between the Eagles and Minnesota Vikings in Philadelphia.

Hours before the Eagles won the game, to advance to Super Bowl LII against the New England Patriots, police on horses arrived in the parking lot of Lincoln Financial Field, where a shirtless man with a bloodied face was arrested -- for punching a police horse and police officer, among other charges.

Co-worker who is a Philly native is paying $100 shipping for soft pretzels to be sent to Denver for his super bowl party. And that is the shipping, not sure how much the pretzels cost. To each his own, and I get wanting to have a get-together with your friends to watch your team play in the big game. But soft pretzels? With $100 I could buy a bottle of Maker's 46 Reserve, and have plenty of money left over to buy soft pretzels at the local Philly cheese steak dive. Millennials.

I spent $300 on 15 lbs of kielbasa shipped to me in Florida from an old Polish deli in Toledo (it was where my grandmother would always buy it) just for a super bowl party a few years ago. Sometimes local substitutes just don't cut it.

The party that I now go to has Schmidt's Bahama Mamas every year, shipped in from the German Village HQ. He is one of the Schmidt family who was born in Ohio and raised here in South Florida.

It's not like it's a rare thing. Heck, you could probably get a custom order of fresh ones from a bakery for a third of that.
