Bro, I fucking commuted from Jersey for the month I had to try and get Naval Supply Depot fixed. No idea how people live there and love it?!?

I was a member of a trade mission representing Mandela a few weeks after he was elected. The South Africans had such a high impression of the USA. Then, we left DC to head to Philly, NY and Boston. Thte Trenton and Newark stations blew their minds with the broken windows and tagging everywhere. Absolutely blew their minds. I was at Dix for basic training and had tried to prepare them, and I don't know what it looks like today, but holy smokes that was an eye-opener.

Pro Tip: if you are trying to show off the USA to foreign visitors, don't take them to Newark.

A quick trip and a prompt exit is the only way. I'm glad that they knocked out KC in a dominant fashion, but my lord that is a miserable place and their fans are a nightmare for the most part.

The one thing I will give them is that they are assholes to your face and don't care. I had a few Philly fans get pissed that I had on an OSU sweater. I asked when was the last time the Eagles and Buckeyes played, then they kinda got the point. They didn't apologize, but they didn't fight me.

Back in the early to mid 1980s, I used to fly from Columbus through Newark to New England on People Express Airlines to visit my elementary school friends from when I lived there. Based on that, when I saw little pin that said "Hell is a city much like Newark", I bought it.
