Aaron Craft gets engaged and the tweets about it are must-seeMy wife is upset about this, but I'm guessing most of our wives are.

I don't think a kid that hasn't played a lick of college should be on that list.

College basketball preseason: 10 'glue guys' to watch
By Jon Rothstein | CBS Sports
October 15, 2013
There's nothing in college hoops like a great glue guy, a player who might not get the glory but is essential to making the machine go. Below is a list of 10 players to watch, heading into the 2013-14 season, who do all the little things for their respective teams. In no particular order...
Aaron Craft, G, Ohio State (Sr., 6-foot-1, 190 pounds): Take the pictures and put them away. College basketball may not see a leader like Craft for quite some time. A relentless on-ball defender and consummate floor general, this senior point guard has been about one thing during his collegiate career -- winning.
Kind of an insult to Craft to put him on a list like that with a lot of lesser players (and surely no one else as proven and well-known). When you're a star, you're not a glue guy anymore. Does anyone call LeBron a glue guy? No, even though he contributes heavily in most any statistical category.

Does Aaron Craft have an NBA future?

The Ohio State basketball team took in Monday night's NBA preseason game in the Buckeyes' home arena.
It's fair to say Aaron Craft was not only watching closely, but sizing up what a year from now could be his competition.
Believe it or not, Craft is finally a senior, his remarkable run as Ohio State's point guard now down to its final season. A nutrition major who may have medical school in his future and never got anything besides an A in any class until he got one B-plus in his second year of college, Craft has options.
His first, he hopes, will be the NBA.
"I don't know (if I'll play in the NBA). I hope so," Craft said earlier this month. "My biggest focus right now is our team. We have potential to be better than last year.
"When that time comes, we'll see. Everyone thinks about (the NBA). You come to college and play at a place like Ohio State, you do that thinking you'll have a chance to play at the next level."

http://www.cleveland.com/osu/index.ssf/2013/10/news_notes_and_observations_fr.htmlAaron Craft will be the emotional leader of this year’s team. Though he has always been known as a vocal presence for Ohio State, Craft could be heard throughout the entire practice directing both youthful players and veterans. One of the best defenders in college basketball, Craft also took the ball to the rim quite a bit during the drills. He was most effective as a scorer a year ago when he scored near the bucket off the dribble. Ohio State will want more of that this year from the senior.
Craft was joined on the first team by two Wolverines - Mitch McGary and Glenn Robinson III - as well as two Spartans - Gary Harris and Adreian Payne - and Penn State's Tim Frazier. Read more »
