Has anyone ever won Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year three straight years, or even three times period? If not, it's about to happen starting next year.

Chris Kramer from Purdue won it in 2008 and 2010, and was first-team all-defense for 4 years. He was the first player to be all-defense 3 times, so that should mean that nobody's been defensive POY 3 times. Kramer is the only player to be all-defense 4 times, JaJuan Johnson also made all-defense 3 times.

Kenneth Lowe of Purdue won Defensive POY in 2003 and 2004.

he is definitely annoying, but the bitching out him being a dirty player is as annoying. also, he flat out-hustled and out smarted us on that loose ball and that was the final dagger. give him credit for that, don't cry about how much people love him.
all that said, i do get a little annoyed by him, and it kind of sucks that Matta insists on playing 6 to 7 guys, because Craft will be seeing 38 minutes a game for the next three years

We love him ... Good job AC. You have set the tone for the next few years in the Big Ten.

What a bunch of crybaby namby pambies. Seriously. You're Michigan State. Quit acting like M*ch*g*n just because things didn't go your way this year.

Funny they don't mention much about them being glad not having to face Diebs, Lighty, or Lauderdale next year. They ought to be happy about that. No. They've gotta focus on having to deal with Craft the next 3 years. You might even have to face Sully again next year.

Deal with it, Sparty.

First off, hi, I'm LadyBuck19, and new. I've been lurking for quite a bit, but this is my first post.

Secondly, Kentucky fans make me laugh. This is what they had to say here:

"Dude get over yourself. There is no way that goofy Craft will slowdown Knight. Knight is a tad better than the crappy unathletic guards in the Big Ten Craft is use to going against. Without making myself appear in bad form, I'll just say Craft is not near athletic enough to play with a guy like Knight."

Can I say, I'm looking forward to this matchup? I would love to see Aaron shut Knight down.

The Knight/Craft matchup will be a good one (if it happens), and I wouldn't venture to predict who will have the better game. I do believe, however, that the PGs (especially ones that rely on their speed and athleticism) that face Aaron in the tourney are in for a shock. The posters on that UK board think B1G PGs are slow. That's fine. Knight does have a gear that most people don't, but I'd say he's about 1/64 of a step faster than Taylor Battle, and I've seen AC go step for step with TB three times. It's fun to watch opposing PGs make their go-to move, only to find AC still in their face with position.

LadyBuck19. Steve19. Any relation?

...crappy unathletic guards in the Big Ten ...
Anyone who seriously believes guard play in the SEC measures up favorably against guard play in the B1G has the Mark May seriously with them. Really stupid comment by the Wildcat fan.

I don't think anyone credibly characterizes Jordan Taylor, Kalin Lucas, Juice Thompson, Talor Battle, Eric May or E'Twaun Moore as "unathletic." And you sure can't do so with Will Buford. Frankly, I don't think Brandon Knight measures up particularly well with any of these from an athletic standpoint, though he's a very good guard.
