Koufos scored 25 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and added 7 blocks in a win over Solon (Dallas Lauderdale) 56-45.

After watching Kosta play against Lauderdale yesterday here are my observations:

He is going to be a very good player here. At this point in time his guards struggle bringing the ball up the court against quicker guys and getting him the ball. When he does have the ball he can score very well around the basket. Has good touch and can shoot the ball. Even from behind the 3 pt line. Much of this we already knew, but Kosta will need to get stronger as at times he was pushed around some by Lauderdale yesterday, but he did battle and did a good job of getting position and rebounding. I think that he will be more of a 4/5 guys and the comparisons to Pau Gasol are spot on.
