Just remembered something else. I was like 16 when his HBO special Delirious came out and he did that bit about Ralph and Norton. We were at my grandparent's house and when she found out what we were watching she made us shut it off. She didn't mind us watching softcore porn on Showtime but as soon as someone uses foul language, well time to put the foot down. A day or two later she caught me saying a curse word and she tried to shame me by saying "you sound just like that colored man from the other night."

I want to preface this by saying I'm not a boomer hater. Young folk like to blame boomers for all of the world's problems and cry about how well they have it and I always say that they just took advantage of what was available to them at the time just as any generation would have done. That being said I have noticed a pattern. There's a small retirement community near our store. I can't count the times that we've caught these people who look to be fairly well off throwing shit into our dumpsters. We've bought padlocks but the homeless just come around with cutters and steal them. Or maybe it's the boomers. Also, they come driving past us throwing out of code product and become really upset when we tell them "no, we're not giving this stuff to you". As I said, these people are well off, they drive nice vehicle yet they're still trying to dumpster dive. I want to reiterate, I'm not a hater and I know this board has lots of wonderful boomers but there is a small handful of them that need to slapped around a bit.
