From the players quotes it seems several took the "no big deal, we played like crap, I'd boo me too" view of it and one took it fairly personal. Seems like a pretty good sample of how a larger group, say this one, would handle it.

My opinions are fact. Don't you know that?

Seriously though, when on the internet and someone says something that is obviously a personal opinion I tend to to imply a "in my opinion" or "to me".

Feel free to believe there was only one, particularly when multiple players dodged the question. Players have to tread lightly to avoid offending their fans, despite the irony.

In other quote supported truth, the buckeye team had a lot of respect for the eastern michigan squad heading into that matchup. Also Tressel has never rewatched the title game.

it's pretty standard practice to boo when a coach sits on a ball at the end of a half (or at the end of regulation of your name is Ferentz). the players should be smart enough to know that's what is being booed if it happens. it's as universal as the crowd wanting to always go for it on 4th and short. are the players out there wondering why everybody in the stands is yelling "go for it" at them? no....they know it's directed at the coaches.

I said to my son-in-law at the half that Coach Tressel had PSU right where he wanted them. I think that Tress does what Woody used to do; play the game close to the vest (no pun intended) during the first half and come out with the "real" game plan at the start of the second.

That was one of the 2 greatest second halves I've ever seen in that stadium after a very mediocre first half. The other was, after leading Northwestern 14-10 at the half, Neal Colzie returned an INT and a punt for TDs in the first 4 plays of the second half. After that the rout was on. I've often wondered what Woody said at halftime, much like I wonder what Tressell said at halftime.

i am sure there were others that didn't care, but I am not guessing that there were plenty who were pissed off by it. Offended was probably the wrong word.

Good work on labeling brian rolle and other warriors as ball less pansies though. A sharp assessment

Watching it on DVR. 1 minute into the game, they show an overhead camera view on a replay of Boom's 14-yard run. Before the snap, Pryor is in the shotgun, in between Boom and B-Saine. The very clear view of the jersey numbers from overhead, with the players side-by-side:
