Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

So... what's going on with the cult today?

Oh - they have a thread about Sherrone Moore - that makes sense.
As you'd expect, there's a lot of hypocrisy about whether to blame the university if anyone is going through any harassment. But there's also some non-hypocrisy about how the school SHOULDN'T have interfered.
Side nookie is always a problem. Michigan Men.
Is it an employers job to protect an adult employee from her own bad decisions?
Uhhhh well YEAH—if it includes harassment of any kind, then it’s the law! Of course, all this depends on what was disclosed to them and what the nature of it was.

I'm sure there will be more fun comments. But for now, it's funny to see that they are calling out M*ch*gan for having a "type". Like, does Penn State not also have a "type"? But also that the woman should have done more against Moore and the school. I know PSU fans blamed Sandusky's victims to an extent - are they also blaming Moore's victim?

"We're sad today because the State of Indiana has now allowed high school athletes to receive NIL. This gives Curt Cignetti the same advantage that Ohio State has in recruiting."

I don't understand why - I suppose some players transitioning from high school to college would like to stay closer to home, and "home" is more likely to be in Indiana if they could get paid in Indiana. But what is the number of in-state players Ohio State has? I suppose I could look that up. But, say you're a high school player looking at multiple offers for college. Do you give Indiana any edge, based on whether their high school players can get NIL money?
I can see how this keeps in-state high school players from moving across state lines to get paid, depending on circumstances. but are 4- and 5-star players more likely to go to Indiana or Ohio State, or avoid going to Penn State, based on this?

I'm putting this here because I found it on their forum, and it shows their arrogance. Not football related at all, though.

OP is grumpy because he was driving through Iowa and got pulled over because his Penn State vanity plate was being partially covered by a license plate frame. I think we've all seen some of these and said, "how is this legal?" Well, it isn't, but no one really cares. Police, included. But the OP has driven a bazillion miles and he just now got pulled over for the first time. SUCH INJUSTICE!!! I'm never eating at this restaurant again!!!

This guy has a rational explanation:
On one hand the frame gives police an opportunity to pull you over and check you out. Additionally, some frames actually cover up part of the plate (state name, or registration tag). Since a lot of states bill you for tolls via camera, they don't like any part of the plate covered.

But it quickly devolves into a Penn State vs Iowa thing:
A Hawkeye fan, no doubt . lol
A Hawkeye fan, no doubt . lol
With a micropenis.
I implore you to keep the PSU frame and unalter your future travel plans. The hotel didn't hire Barney "Hawkeye" Fife.
I drove through iowa once…to get to nebraska. I suck mightily, but even I didn’t deserve that.
I suspect the plate letters / numbers have a pro-PSU meaning, hence the reason he was pulled over.

A couple of people come in with, "It's still against the law, dufus."
However,
Some laws are meant to be broken.

Just when you thought they might have moved on from this...

Why is this important? Because if Sandusky didn't do anything wrong, then Paterno didn't cover anything up. That's really all they're interested in: putting Paterno at the top of the CFB mountain. I mean... never mind that he doesn't really belong there, anyway. But they think he does, so they can have that. But he's been knocked down because of this Sandusky thing 15 years ago. Ha - 15 years ago, already. Let's get people to doubt whether Sandusky did anything wrong, so Paterno can be the greatest.

Jerry deserves a fair trial.

I don’t know if he’s guilty or innocent, but he deserves better justice than was administered by a jeopardized judge influenced by bunch of money grubbing attorneys coaching victims for the sole sake of $$ payouts.

Some of those sleazy, artificially enriched attorneys used to post on the former Tom board.
The whole thing was a farce from day one

Remember Lando Commando? He's back as KingLando.
He had a fair trial
It's interesting people think this is giving him a new trial...comical really
A fair trial doesn't encompass evidentiary discovery issues, witness tampering/coercion,bribes and an exceedingly expeditious hearing docket. All of which tainted the first trial.
None of it tainted the first trial. People are just desperate to believe he's innocent because they incorrectly believe that would change how Joe is viewed. Sandusky was found guilty on almost every count, this isn't giving him a new trial contrary to what some want to believe. This is absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things, something very common. I'm not sure why anyone believes this proves he's not guilty. We're long past that point. There's always a people that disagree with the verdict that grasp at straws until the very end. Hell there's people that think Mackenzie Shirilla is innocent. Sandusky will die in prison and we should all be thankful for that.

If we're being honest this is just a waste of money
He should have hung but yeah.
LOL. Anyone who thinks he got a fair trial clearly hasn’t done research on the case. The number of agenda driven shenanigans pulled in this heist was record breaking. Too many to count.

And that's just part of page 1 of 11, so far.
