Defensive end Daniel Jennings is no longer with the Nittany Lions, but he has not officially announced his future plans. He redshirted as a true freshman this season.
Cornerback A.J. Harris is no longer with the team, but he has not officially announced his future plans. He has one season of eligibility remaining and is also a draftable NFL prospect.

Just sayin': So far Penn State only has 2 players in their 2026 recruiting class and with all those players out of eligibility, declaring for the NFL draft, and/or transferring; you really have to wonder how competitive that they will be in 2026.

Last news account I saw this morning said Clemson has 28 players (including 11 regular season starters) who will not play in the Pinstripe Bowl today due to opt outs, injury, transfer (lost subway ticket, etc). Ped State has 31 players unavailable today. Should they rename it the Backup Bowl….or the Scrubs Bowl?
The "Nobody Gives a Shit (even including the players on the teams playing) Bowl. The only college postseason bowl games that matter anymore are the CFPs. Besides giving ESPN something to televise; all the other bowl games just allow the schools participating to have 3 weeks of extra practices to prepare for the following season.
