Honestly, that wouldn’t be too dissimilar from our Jim Tressel process. He was, of course, a proven winner.

Seems like a guy with zero recruiting connection to the Midwest, the Southeast, the entire East Coast and especially the DMV might have a bit of trouble rescuing a recruiting class and getting rolling quickly at Penn State.

Feels a lot like Rich Rod and UM. A “big name” on paper because they were desperate for one, but a huge miss in just about every other measure that seems predestined to crash and burn.
