Kerry Collins vs Every OSU QB - Forums
Lots of handwringing about how our QBs don't have meaningful NFL careers, and that its a big reason why we haven't been able to get over the hump. This season is over and we compare ourselves to OSU for better or worse, so (while meaningless) I thought it'd be entertaining to do a little...
They compare Kerry Collins's NFL statistics to the combination of the stats for all Ohio State quarterback ever. If you don't want to click, let me spoil the ending for you: they wouldn't post it if their guy didn't come out favorably. It reminds me a lot of *ichigan boasting about Tom Brady.
First, who else do you have? You got one guy. And sure, maybe Ohio State has 0 (so far), but is 1 that much more than 0?
Second, who would trade places? You got Team A that has 1 guy with a decent NFL career, and maybe 0.250 record against Team B. Or Team B, that has 0 guys with decent NFL careers, but 0.750 against Team A. And Team B has many more conference championships, and 3 national championships.
Pump up your team if you want, but it's pretty clear that you're grasping for moral victories.

Tom Matte spent most of his career as an RB/WR had a terrific half-season at qb guiding the Colts to within a missed field goal of an NFL title.
If Art Schleister could have stayed clear of betting he’d have had better NFL numbers than Kerry fucknuts Collins.
