Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

They get how it works......right? They're not going to fly kids out to NYC to get embarassed because they didn't even come close. They invited 3. He wasn't one of them.

I'm guessing there's going to be a very large percentage of ballots that aren't sensible, according to them. Heaven help the writer that is from PA or Ohio that didn't vote him number one.

Agreed. Also, you'd think that in close games your team should lean on the Heisman contender to do well. Penn State played 3 close games all year (within 3 points). Win at Iowa, he got 211 yards plus 94 more receiving. THAT's what a Heisman contender should do. Against Ohio State, 44 yards, averaging 2.1 per carry. Against Michigan State, 63 yards. In those two games, he got 107 yards combined, in 35 carries. 3 yards a carry.

He was unable to keep drives moving late and the team was unable to rely on him. He would have been a worse candidate than Jarbill Peppers, in my opinion, and that's saying A LOT.
Come On, He was so fast and shifty, the statisticians did not even see all the crazy yards he gained, and that is why he didn't get credit and was robbed of his Heisman...

Penn State has gotten screwed out of the Heisman way before the Sandusky shit hit the fan.

Man, Paterno taught them how to play the victim card well didn't he. I can't think of a single pro or college fanbase in America that is ALWAYS being screwed over by outside forces, and it all goes back to Paterno whining in the late 60s about being "cheated" out of national championships.

But he got even with Nixon. He told him to "shove it". (If you believe that. I don't.)
