McQuery's whistleblower case to go forward. PSU's bid for dismissal falls flat.

Off to the delusional bases boards to see what FACTS and EVIDENTS have turned up in the mean time.

I was reading BWI a bit last night, and the general consensus is Ped State will be writing the ginger a fat check at some point.

There are a few who were screeching about JoePed and whatnot, but in the end "the administration was incompetent and did it the wrong way" was the argument I kept seeing.

Between the job he wasn't going to get and any payout now, this guy's built his entire livelihood around seeing a kid get raped and not stopping it.

Does he have the book deal yet?

I was looking through some of the comments on an article about the media screw up today regarding the supposed arrest of a Boston bombing suspect, and one of the few logical comments had something to do with hoping that the investigation didn't falsely pin someone like Richard Jewell in the Atlanta bombing. Some Pedster saw it as the perfect opportunity to compare it to JoePa being framed by the media. I get most of my PSU information from this board, but that pretty much reinforced everything I've read here.

That's rich. Quoth wikipedia:

Jewell, in his capacity as a security guard, discovered the bag and alerted Georgia Bureau of Investigation officers; this discovery was nine minutes before Rudolph called 9-1-1 to deliver a warning. Jewell and other security guards began clearing the immediate area so that a bomb squad could investigate the suspicious package.

Paterno kept his mouth shut for a decade while more kids got raped. Jewell alerted authorities immideately about possible illegal activity and put his ass on the line to help others who might be in harm's way. Richard Jewell and Joe Paterno couldn't be any less alike.

Franco was seen in Boston on Monday wearing a dark hoodie, white ball cap & black backpack.

Coincidence?

It couldn't have been him unless he was also videotaped carrying a lifesize cardboard cutout of an (alleged) human.

Could be tasteless, but someone needs to Photoshop Franco Harris and his Paterno cutout up on the top of that roof near the finish line...

Franco Harris hosts pro-Paterno spring game event

A day before they celebrated this year's end of Penn State spring football practice, more than 200 alumni and fans gathered Friday for an event hosted by Hall of Fame running back Franco Harris about the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal. They remain angry about the circumstances surrounding the firing of the late coach Joe Paterno in the wake of Sandusky's arrest in November 2011. Presenters during the three-hour gathering claimed Penn State's firing of Paterno and acceptance of NCAA sanctions were done too hastily and without enough information. "Not everything is as it appears," Harris said, "and that's why we're here." They cited what they called discrepancies on several topics, notably between court testimony of Sandusky's trial and a lack of evidence in former FBI investigator Louis Freeh's report for the school that accused Paterno of covering up child abuse.

Does this fruitcake have any idea how fucking crazy he appears to people outside the cult?
