This was all be design, and ERickson and the Board are every bit as culpable as Emmert, RAy and Delaney. When some kid playing his heart out and playing hurt because of a lack of depth gets taken off the field on a stretcher, the blame will fall squarely on Erickson, Peetz Surma and all the rest.

This is a team that went 9-4 last year with smoke and mirrors. They averaged 19 ppg, and lost their best WR, RB, and a chunk of their OL. The have, maybe, the least talented defensive backfield in the conference, but they're gonna equal or better last year.
Maybe they all have dyslexia, in which case they may be correct.

Virginia is the 3rd or 4th best ACC team this year. Loss.
To beat Navy, you have to have discipline and focus on the field AND two weeks to prepare for them. This Navy team was very young last year and has returned basically everyone of note. Loss.
Temple should have won last year. They will win this year. It's in Philly, it may not be a pro-PedState crowd. Close Loss.

Indiana - Close win - if Indiana's offense is competent I think this could easily be a loss and perhaps by a large margin too.
Wisconsin - by this point the depth issues on the defense will seriously show. Loss by quite a large margin
I have them going 3-9 and I think I'm being fair. They could win as many as 5 if they get every break, but they could conceivably lose every game too if they don't.
Let's revisit...
They lost to Ohio. Badly. And even worse, their defense seriously wore down at the end.
They will not win in Charlottesville next week.
The interesting one will now be Navy. I didn't like what I saw from the Navy offense today. In fact, if Navy goes back to the triple option game instead of Purdue 2001 or whatever it was we saw this weekend, they win because Penn State will wear down.
Temple will win...in fact everything else I have above will pretty much play out until we get to Indiana. If Indiana has any type of offense they win.
1-11 AT BEST.
