Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

I'm waiting for him to say that Hack is the greatest QB of all time.

Here's the thread that AJHawkfan was referring to. Not QUITE what you're asking for, but it's pretty damn close:

Here is what I can say about Hack right now. He is the next great player after Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. He is the guy that Jerry Jones wants to be at QB for the Cowboys. Jerry's son says Hack, Hack, Hack is the guy to bring us back.

Sorry nit. Andrew Luck is the next great one. Hack isn't anywhere near that level YET.

Hack has just as much potential at the same age if not more than Luck.

If we're talking ability....I'm not sure Hackenburg isn't the best QB in the B1G right now. I think Sudfeld can be a stud, but I need to see it. Good thing for me and anybody else that wishes Penn State nothing but sadness and losses is that they have literally nothing else to help him on offense.

I'd take him over Connor Cook, Gardner, Scheelhaase, Rudock, Stave, and Siemian for sure. I honestly don't know one thing about Philip Nelson, and I'm on fantasy football record as saying Sudfeld is going to put up serious stats. Whether you want to count that as being a better QB or not is up for debate.....but I'd take him over everybody else.

That's just God telling them he knows they're bending the rules about no bowl games with this Ireland trip, and he's not amused by it.

This reminds me of another "WTF are they thinking in Happy Valley?" thing I have. So, somewhere I read that Emmert was able to convince "everyone else" that they shouldn't give Penn State the death penalty because it would hurt local businesses, financially. Hundreds of millions of fans pour into that stupid city for every home game, and shop in the stores, and eat at the restaurants, and just throw golden dollars up in the air be the handful, creating almost a ticker-tape parade (except with coins the size of Joesus's face - which makes sense, since they all have his face on them) instead of confetti. We can't take that away from the local businesses, who had nothing to do with what Sandusky did, or Joesus's unwillingness to do anything about it. We NEED to keep football in that town. Fine, we'll give the cult their football, but we won't let the school make any money off it.

So what do the geniouses do? They tell the NCAA that they're #1, as they voluntarily take football out of Happy Valley, and into an entirely different country. On a different continent. They say to their fans, come throw your golden coins around in Ireland. Of course, you need to give a bunch of them to an airline that can get you there, first. And all you schmucks who don't want to throw your golden coins around out there, make sure you wake up nice and early that morning, because kick-off will be at 8:30AM, your time.

See how much we love our local businesses?

Actually, this is the return game of Ped State's loss to UCF last year, and if it was going to be played in the states, it would be played at The Trampoline, not Beaver.

As for Bardarbunga, It is expected that the debris from this particular volcano will be much heavier and more coarse than the debris from Eyjafjallajokull, therefore not travelling as far or being quite as disruptive as the 2010 eruption. Bardarbunga last erupted in 1910, throwing much more basalt than Eyjafjallajokull does.

Not to say there isn't a risk, because there is. It all depends on the magnatude of the eruption.

Hackensack played admirably as a true frosh. But, he did it in a very QB-friendly system under a noted-QB guru who made McMoxie...McMoxie for chrissakes!...look like a competent QB. I need to see more of him before I believe he isn't just going to do the Chad Henne thing where he has a terrific freshman season, then never really improves on it.
