Re: Urban at the memorial
One of the few who should NOT be there given his conduct since bailing on PSU and choosing OSU after the scandal. Joe was friendly with him BEFORE all that. Based on his taking advantage of Joe's situation, I don't believe he is the man Joe thought he was.
Don't sweat it, you don't have anything left he wants.Nominate | Report Posted: Today 1:23 PM

"Returning top-shelf defense" = Um, losing most of the secondary and one of the best DL in the B1G.

Predict Penn State's win total next year:
I'm saying a record of 10-3.
Reasons:
1) Penn State returns a top shelf defense, and the offense should have a pulse.
2) The schedule is favorable. Penn State misses out on the two best teams in the Big10 next year.
There aren't really any games that I look at and think, this game will be a loss. Alabama isn't on the schedule and Penn State gets Wisky at home minus Russell. There are three road games that could cause problems (Virginia, Iowa, and Nebraska), but Penn State should have a good shot in all three of the games. Also, Ohio State is at home as well.
I think 10 wins is a reasonable goal, and is possible. That should be a good enough start to give BOB the momentum that he needs.
I'd think he's being sarcastic, but cults can't comprehend sarcasm.Nominate | Report Posted: Today 4:18 AM

11-1 with the loss being Ohio State. Silas Redd finishes 4th in the Heisman vote.
See above. Pedtard version of ThaKid. Bench is the 2* qb they just poached from Rice.Nominate | Report Posted: Today 6:20 AM

Re: Predict Penn State's win total next year:
11-1.
On defense:
Best linebacker corp in the nation (at least 1 All-American)
Dominant DTs (Hill potential All-American)
Improved DE play (Massaro back from injury, Stanley should be improved)
Solid CBs (little depth, but I think Amos can be one of the best in the nation)
On offense:
Potential Heisman winner in Silas Redd
Good WR play (would help a lot if Drake grows up)
Maybe a QB? (hoping that Jones can become eligible, or Bench comes in right away and takes it)
A stronger, more physical o-line (perhaps less talented, but as long as they can block for Redd, they will do their job)
He clearly has not been assimilated.Nominate | Report Posted: Today 8:48 AM

Going from Brady to McGloin....I honestly expect BoB to break down in tears after the first spring practice lol.
That doesn't mean what you think it means anymore, sparky. And what exactly has it meant since you joined the B1G, anyway?

RE: Predict Penn State's win total next year:
We really don't know what we have.
How much will the defense change and will the current players be able to pick it up?
I have to figure that the offense will be totally overhauled. How long will it take for the players to adjust?
But then again, we're freaking Penn State....
12-0, a conference championship and a trip to Miami!

For those of you who think we lose to OSU why? We beat them and Wiscy. Our toughest games are going to be UVA, Iowa and Nebraska...maybe Purdue.

Still time to get some prospects on campus for the last
recruiting weekend for the 2012 class. Neither Hamilton or Fuller have scheduled plans to visit anywhere this weekend. Denman just may want to take a look. It was "reported" in a post on the Rutger's Rivals site that Leontae Carroo has already scheduled a visit to Miami for this weekend.
Also there was a post on Lions 24/7 stating that "the two GA kids backed out of their visit for this weekend". Anyone know that is certain? Moore can play S!

Coming from the fanbase that can't wait to cut down OSU for focusing too much on football and not enough on life outside/after the playing days.Nominate | Report Posted: Today 1:52 PM

RE: Urban at the memorial
Classy move by Meyer but just seems a little inappropriate considering he just stole the cream of the recruiting class.
...but just for the sheer hilarity that "sekrah" is still at it.@sekrah Sekrah Sports
I am hearing Bill O'Brien's in home visit with Demetrious Cox went very, very well.
