plus a history of being clean.

Well, aside from that pedophile thing that seems to keep popping up, and an occasional stadium cleaning to clear up everyone's community service standing, I'd say Penn State is as pure as the driven snow.

Penn State fans better hope that Sandusky doesn't know something about the program that he was using as leverage to keep everyone looking the other way.

Yeah, the largest scandel in CFB history went on under their administration's noses for years without a peep to stop it, and yet they still think they're a "clean" program? Hilarious.

If their administration and head coach would cover for a pedophile, do they really think they'd report an occasional $500 handshake, or bogus employment, or rogue booster? It's hilarious how clueless they are.

They were able to cover up the serial ass fucking of little boys for over a decade to protect JoePa's legacy. You think something as minor as recruiting violations or academic fraud was going to leak out of Joestown.

Decrying State College Joestown is truly an apex. I salute you, sir.

Re: How many kids have switched to O$U? Reply
it is normal for any school to get flips, but what is abnormal is for multiples to flip to the same program especially when they are not located close to the school they are winding up at. it is almost like Meyar is specifically targeting PSU players. this will come back to haunt him.
i can understand the kids that backed out when we were in the 75 day search and the media blitz. Now things have stabilized and it is clear we have a better staff than OSU, better facilities than OSU and better academics plus a history of being clean. OSU is on probation for 3 yrs and another incident is not a slap on the wrist it will be a form of death penalty. believe me if UM uses the NQs he allegedly negotiated it will be the end of OSU. NQs are the petri dish for recruiting violations because they draw the boosters in.

Since every other part of the post has been addressed, I'll ask this: Wasn't the notion that Meyer is allowed to recruit non or partial qualifiers wrong? In the introductory press conference someone asked Smith if any of the academic requirements had been changed and he said no.

Am I missing something or are the Ped State fans just that much more delusional?

Yes. It's become abundantly clear that paterno's gaters are the least knowledgeable fanbase in CFB. Even worse than dook or wake forest fans, who couldn't give a frog's fat ass about football.

It is. There is no longer any such thing as partial qualifiers or prop 48s--both of which were banned under Big Ten rules in any event. They either qualify, or they don't. If UM received anything, it was a certain number of recruits that he could get in (who qualified under ncaa rules) that wouldn't normally make it past admissions. No different than any other BCS school in the country. Stanford's football team might have an NCAA best 1300 average SAT score, but that's still 200 points off the rest of the freshman class.

I think I have finally figured out a way for Dane Cook to be funny.

Go on stage and read the PSU Scout board.

This isn't from the scout board, but:

Camern you're nothing but a punk. Go with the dirty osu program. When you're career goes south you'll wish you had stayed with a winner in psu! Goodbye u trader punk!
I don't know what is funnier- the poor spelling and grammar, or calling PSU a "winner".

I'm not even mad its just pathetic that they come here justifying the over signing (when they all complained about it when they were getting schooled by the SEC) and gloating over us losing recruits over a horrible - bigger than football situation

Can't believe I will actually root for Michigan, but after the display on here - go blue
+1

some of them don't even get it. i'd say more than not truly believe these kids decided on tOSU because of Urban Meyer (omgz he is the bestest recruiter evr1!!!!!!!!) and not because of a bigger than football situation.

i'm fine with whichever prospect wants to change his mind, they should just recognize some of the sickos that will be rooting for them.... the ones that do get it and gloat about it.

if you want some true unfettered insight on tOSU fanbase online, and prolly half the jackholes that are over here now posting, check buckeyeplanet.

if you listen closely you can hear them cheering sandusky because that got them 3-4 recruits.

WE ARE. In their heads.
